Filtering and Finding Setups
Narrow setups by sector, market cap, RS, days in stage, and more.
Once you've picked a pattern and a stage, filters help you narrow the list down to exactly the kind of setup you're hunting for.
Filtering, Searching, and Exporting
Above the table you'll find a set of tools to narrow things down further:
- All Sectors, All Industries, All Market Caps, All Stages — narrow by what kind of company it is, and by pattern stage
- RS Percentile and Days in Stage 2 sliders — narrow by relative strength and how long the stock has been in its current stage
- Search bar — jump straight to a specific stock by name or symbol
- Saved Queries — save your current filter setup to reuse later
- Export to TV/Excel — download everything currently matching your filters
- Reset — clear every filter and start fresh
RS Percentile
Filter by a stock's relative strength compared to the rest of the market. See What Is Relative Strength? for what this measures.
Days in Stage 2
Filter by how long a stock has been in its current stage — useful if you want to focus on stocks that only recently entered a stronger phase, or ones with a more established trend behind them.
Mean Reversion
A toggle you can switch on or off to include or exclude stocks that are showing signs of a sharp pullback from their recent move. Turning on "Show Column" adds this as a visible column in the table, so you can see it at a glance for every stock rather than just filtering it in or out.
Reviewing the Results
Once filtered, review setups one at a time by switching to Chart view, or use Grid view to see several stocks' charts side by side. See Viewing Setups: Table, Chart, and Grid Views.
Common Questions
Can I combine all of these filters at once? Yes — sector, industry, market cap, stage, RS Percentile, and Days in Stage 2 all apply together, narrowing the same list rather than replacing each other.
What does "Saved" next to the filter row mean? It's your saved filter combinations — set your filters the way you like, save them, and come back to that exact view later without rebuilding it each time.
