What Do My Trading Journal Stats Mean?
The performance numbers summarizing your trading for the period.
Was this helpful?
Above the trade table, a row of stats summarizes your performance for whichever month (or All Positions) you're currently viewing.

What Each Stat Means
- Realized β profit or loss locked in from closed trades
- Unrealized β profit or loss on positions still open, based on current prices
- Cum. ROI β cumulative return on invested capital across the period
- W / L β count of winning trades vs. losing trades
- Batting Avg β the percentage of your closed trades that were winners
- Win % β the average percentage gain across your winning trades
- Loss % β the average percentage loss across your losing trades
- Avg Held β the average holding period across all trades
- W Held β the average holding period for winning trades
- L Held β the average holding period for losing trades
- Win βΉ β the average rupee gain across winning trades
- Loss βΉ β the average rupee loss across losing trades
- Avg RS (Open) β the average RS Percentile across your currently open positions
Common Questions
Why do Loss % and L Held show a dash?
A dash means there's nothing to average yet β if you haven't logged a losing trade in that period, WealthLab has no losses to calculate a percentage or holding period from.
Do these stats reset when I switch months?
Yes. Selecting a specific month scopes every stat to trades logged that month. Switching to All Positions or a different month recalculates them for that scope instead.
