Rank of an industry is on the basis of its average Relative Strength (RS).

Four cards sit at the top of the page, giving you the industry's current standing before you scroll into anything else.

The Four Cards
- Stage 2 % β the share and count of the industry's stocks currently in Stage 2.
- Avg RS β the industry's average RS rating, with how much it's changed over the past 5 weeks.
- Median RS β the industry's median RS rating, which isn't pulled around by one or two outlier stocks the way an average can be.
- Momentum β a label like Accelerating or Decelerating, with the change in average RS over the past 10 weeks.
Common Questions
Why show both Avg RS and Median RS?
A handful of very strong or very weak stocks can pull the average away from where most stocks in the industry actually sit. Say an industry has 10 stocks, and nine of them have an RS around 40 β but one has an RS of 95. The average gets dragged up to around 45, making the industry look stronger than it really is for most of its stocks. The median would still land around 40, closer to where the bulk of the industry actually sits. Looking at both together tells you whether the industry's strength is broad-based or concentrated in just a few names.
