How Do I Use the Top Navigation Bar?

Every screen in WealthLab shares the same navigation bar across the top — a row of quick-access icons — so you're never more than one click away from reaching a tool, no matter where you are in the product.

The Icon Row

To the right of search sits a small set of icons for tools you'll want reaching for often, regardless of which screen you're currently on — things like your position sizing tool, notes, notifications, and Time Machine live here rather than buried in the sidebar.

• Position Sizing Tool — work out how many shares to trade for a given entry, without leaving your current screen.
• Notes — jot down or review your notes on the fly.
• Notifications — see what's new, with a red badge showing how many unread notifications you have.
• Time Machine — jump back to an earlier point and see how the market or a stock looked then.

Each of these tools works the same way no matter which screen you opened it from — selecting one doesn't navigate you away from what you were doing, so you can check a notification or jot a note without losing your place.
