Where Should I Start on WealthLab?
Start from the top down — check overall market conditions first using Market Breadth, then industries, then individual stocks.
What This Is
Start from the top down — check overall market conditions first using Market Breadth, then industries, then individual stocks.
You can also start by directly screening for Stage 2 Stocks or setting up your own Dashboard.
Why This Order
A stock's performance is shaped by the industry it belongs to, and industry performance is shaped by overall market conditions. Starting from the top down gives you that context before you look at any single stock.
A Simple Starting Path
- Check Market Health. Open Market Breadth to see overall breadth and the current Market Recap.
- Look at industries. Open the Industries Explorer to see which industries currently rank highest by relative strength.
- Screen for stocks. Open the RS Screener and filter by the industries you're interested in, or by Stage.
- Review a stock's page. Select any stock to see its RS Rating, Stage, fundamentals, and how it compares to its industry peers — see What Is a Stock Detail Page?
- Save what you're watching. Add stocks to Tracking so you can follow them without repeating the search.
If You Already Know What You Want
If you're looking for a specific stock or industry, skip straight to Header Search instead of working through the screens in order.
